Those of you who have volunteered here in the past years, will remember Bibi Helen. She was always a friend of our volunteers as she spoke good English. She retired from her work here at Cradle the end of September, this year. From that day on, she suffered with high blood sugars and then heart problems, She was in and out of hospital. Just last week they transferred her to Moshi to the KCMC hospital. Yesterday I got a report that she was doing very badly and unresponsive. Her children who live in Europe were going to come over.
This morning I was told that she died during the night. We are truly saddened by this news! She cared for many babies during her 7 years with us and also was night supervisor.
That is really sad news. All the best to her family.
Bibi Helen is my Mom, my beloved Mom. So sad that she left us so unexpectedly, too early and too young. On behalf of my siblings, I would like to thank Cradle Of Love Baby Home for everything. Rest in Peace our wonderful Mom.
