Clara came to Cradle of Love in late February at the age of 6 months old. Her mother is ‘crazy’ and incapable of caring for her. After 8 months in our care, Clara is doing so well. She is now 14 months old and ready to be reunited with family. After a home study visit and approval from social welfare, Clara was able to go home to her grandmother, Ester and 4 year old sister, Vanessa. Ester is very poor and survives by selling a few vegetables when she can. Her local SDA church has offered to help by providing  [ Read More ]

Little baby of ¬†Anna is only 1 week old. She came to us with a tragic story. Her mother had an accident in the kitchen when the propane stove exploded! She died later at the hospital from the burns however, doctors were able to save her baby’s life via emergency caesarian¬†section.
