Tuesday is the shopping day for Cradle. Brendon Church, Leah, the cook and myself headed for Arusha.  We have a system in place for getting all the supplies purchased, in the most efficient way. First stop is Pick N Pay where we get cleaning supplies and some food staples. Today was special because we had a gift lined up for the babies by Divya, a wonderful lady who has helped us in the past. She purchased 48 tins of baby formula for us this week, that will last for a month! A great big thank you to her. Then we  [ Read More ]

Today we enjoyed a special lunch to thank our wonderful staff for all their hard work and patience and understanding. For the past three months, they have had to wait for their monthly wages as funds have been so low. They themselves have families to provide and care for which makes this situation very difficult. They are delightful.  It was such a feeling of relief for me to see them doing the payroll and I didn’t have to be involved. They will be going on a 3 month leave this month, so I will have full responsibility here again until their return the first of the year.  Then we will have some months together, until the girls and  [ Read More ]

Cradle of Love has been blessed with such wonderful volunteers these last couple of months. We cannot thank-you enough for your support, donations, love and care you have shown the children. Your dedication and enthusiasm has been exceptional. It is a real delight to see your smiling faces each morning. We hope one day you can return and visit us again!
